Develop the skills needed to guide the delivery of value in a Lean enterprise, and learn about the activities, tools, and mechanics used to manage backlogs and programs. This SAFe^® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) training covers how to effectively perform the product owner and project manager roles. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the Agile Release Train (ART) and how it delivers value.

We will also cover how to apply Lean thinking to write epics; break them down into features and stories, plan and execute iterations; and plan program increments. Finally, we will discuss how product owners and product managers integrate a continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture and what it takes to relentlessly improve the ART.

Participants will be registered at Scaled Agile Inc. and receive an entry link to the SAFe^® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) exam and SAFe^® community platform with course registration. Participants must attend all training days to be eligible to take the exam.

This web-based exam consists of 45 multiple-choice questions, which participants must complete in 90 minutes. The exam is in English. Participants must take the exam within 30 days after completing the training and must answer 80% of the questions correctly to pass the exam. A retake of the exam is possible.
