intacs^®-certified Automotive SPICE^® Provisional Assessor v4.0

Gain understanding of the Automotive SPICE^® reference model as well as experience with planning, conducting and documenting assessments.

This four-day training, certified under the International Assessor Certification Scheme (intacs^®), lays a foundation to become an intacs^®-certified Provisional Assessor. The training provides participants with a detailed understanding of the Automotive SPICE^® v4.0 model and the corresponding Automotive SPICE^® Guidelines. The training expands upon the Automotive SPICE^® v4.0 Process Expert training.

Our intacs^®-certified Instructors take participants through numerous practical exercises, allowing them to independently apply process improvements to individual topics so they can assess and optimize processes used at their own company.

This training will provide participants with a detailed understanding of the Automotive SPICE^® reference model, their first experience with planning, conducting and documenting assessments, and the opportunity to act as a co-assessor in Automotive SPICE^® assessments.

• Introduction to interviewing and documentation techniques
• Overview of the assessment procedure
• Exercise aimed at gaining further insights into the processes of the Automotive SPICE^® assessment model
• Exercise aimed at gaining a more detailed understanding of rating process attributes up to level
• Detailed understanding of the processes in the recommended Assessment Scope for system and software level: MAN.3, SUP.1, SUP.8, SUP.9, SUP.10, SYS.2, SYS.3, SYS.4, SYS.5, SWE.1, SWE.2, SWE.3, SWE.4, SWE.5 and SWE.6

This training does not cover processes for hardware development and processes for machine learning. Please refer to our extension trainings.

• To gain certification as an intacs^®-certified Automotive SPICE^® Provisional Assessor v4.0, participants must successfully pass the exam.
• Participants can apply for the certification at the VDA QMC after passing the exam. The VDA QMC will charge additional fees for the certification. Participants must register with VDA QMC within one year of successfully passing the exam. VDA QMC charges an additional fee for intacs^® registration.
• For online trainings, all materials are offered digitally. For in-person trainings, all materials are offered digitally.
• We also provide participants with education software, including a self-assessment module to enable participants to evaluate their level of knowledge and gauge progress.
