The training covers the technical testing skills integral to an agile development approach.

This three-day training builds on the software testing concepts covered in the ISTQB^® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) trainings with special approaches for agile projects.

In this training, we will discuss how requirements engineering methods can help participants create testable epics and user stories. We will also cover test procedures beyond the techniques covered in the CTFL-AT training that can be used in the agile environment.

The training also provides an overview of test automation techniques and discusses the importance of testing for continuous development and delivery.

The training content is equivalent to that in the curriculum published by the ISTQB^® and German Testing Board (GTB):

Requirements engineering
- Requirements engineering methods
- Analysis of user stories and epics with requirements engineering methods
- Identification of acceptance criteria by requirements engineering methods and test methods
Testing in an agile environment
- Agile development techniques and test procedures
- Experience-based testing in the agile environment

Test automation
- Test automation methods
- Degrees of automation
Deployment and delivery (provisioning/commissioning and delivery)
- Continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous testing
- Service virtualization

System or software tester, system or software developers, project managers and quality managers in an agile environment

要求

Before taking this training, participants must have experience with software-based systems. It is also helpful (but not required) to have knowledge of software/system testing or software/system development. Participant must also have achieved the following certifications:

ISTQB^® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) prior to v4.0
ISTQB^® Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT)

ISTQB^® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) v4.0

考试

The independent certifier, International Software Quality Institute (iSQI), will issue the ISTQB^® CTFL certification to participants who pass the exam. The exam fee is not included in the training registration costs; participants are charged for the exam separately.
